Exhibition

Exhibition_Hogans_AlleyThe diverse History of American comics unfolds before our eyes, through the art pieces featured in “From Yellow Kid To Conan”, the exhibition that is hosted at Comicdom Con Athens 2010.

It is one of the most important comic art exhibitions ever presented to the European public, with artwork by many great artists, including Neal Adams, Carl Barks, Milton Caniff, Howard Chaykin, Winsor McCay, Todd McFarlane, Roy Thomas, Art Spiegelman, Walt Kelly and many more.

Famous heroes, ranging from Mickey Mouse, Dick Tracy and Prince Valiant, to Conan, Spider-Man and Swamp Thing, come to live through the thirty-one originals that will grace the walls in the N. Hadjikyriakos Gikas gallery of the Hellenic-American Union.

The exhibition “From Yellow Kid To Conan” is co-organized by Comicdom Press and the Hellenic-American Union, in collaboration with the Ohio State University Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum. The exhibition opens on April 16 2010, the first day of Comicdom Con Athens 2010, and closes its doors on May 16 2010.
