Gordon Blacksmith was born in 1980 in Pireaus and spent his childhood with footballs, wheelies, and allergic rhinitis.
He has studied mechanical engineering and graphic design, out of which he has also made a profession, working for publishing houses, advertising firms, and record companies. In the last few years, he has also been working incognito at a fashion house, sporting lilac shirts and horn-rimmed glasses.
His comic, THE PROPHET’S GARDEN was published in METAL HAMMER magazine for fifteen years, from 2001 to 2016, where is was constantly voted as the best regular column by the readers. It’s been published at Jackson Guitars’ website, and Megadeth’s David Ellefson has granted permission to use one of the band’s songs as its theme.
In Comicdom Con Athens 2019, he publishes the second collected edition of the comic, titled THE UNHOLY BOOK.
