Dimitrios Mastoros

Born in Brussels in 1989. Up to his early teens, he used to go back and forth between Athens, Paros, and Brussels, until he settled for good in Athens, specifically Exarcheia. There, he began his collaboration with SCHOOLIGANS, a satirical school magazine insert in the newspaper Eleftherotypia, where he published artwork and comics for years. He returned to Brussels to study comics at the Saint-Luc Art School, where he graduated in 2012.

His thesis on the neighborhood of his youth was the blueprint for his first comic, which came out three years later, in collaboration with Belgian writer Nicolas Wouters, under the title EXARCHEIA, L’ORANGE AMERE. He lives and works in Brussels.
