Aσχολείται με τα comics από το 1997 και με το animation από το 2008. Πλέον είναι ιδιοκτήτης ενός από τα διασημότερα animation studio στην Ελλάδα με 2D παραγωγές, έχοντας ήδη 2 σειρές aired σε κανάλι της Disney μεταφρασμένες σε 20 γλώσσες. Επίσης είναι παραγωγός και διευθυντής στο μεγαλύτερο 3D studio animation της Ελλάδος στην Αθήνα, με την πιο ογκώδη παραγωγή που έχει γίνει ποτέ στη χώρα μας. Τέλος, διδάσκει στο διατμηματικό μεταπτυχιακό του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής
Μακεδονίας και του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης, “Δημιουργική Γραφή”, το μάθημα του σεναρίου animation.
Dimitris Savvaidis has been involved in comics since 1997 and animation since 2008. He is now the owner of one of the most famous animation studios in Greece with 2D productions, having already 2 series aired on Disney Channel translated into 20 languages. He is also a producer and director of the largest 3D animation studio in Greece in Athens with the most massive production ever made in the country. Finally, he teaches the course of animation scripting “Creative Writing” at the interdisciplinary postgraduate program of the University of Western Macedonia and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
