Ο Francesco Verni είναι Ιταλός δημοσιογράφος που ασχολείται κυρίως με το θέαμα και τα comics. Francesco Verni is an Italian journalist who deals primarily with entertainment and comics. Born in Padua in 1980 after his studies he worked in various publications and, since 2004, he has been the first writer for the culture and entertainment column of the newspaper “Corriere del Veneto”, the local version of the famous “Corriere della Sera” in the wider Venice area.With regards to comics, he has given a series of speeches and presentations, while he has interviewed, among others, great people in the field such as Sergio Toppi, Frank Miller, Katsuhiro Ōtomo and Moebius. Artistic director of the Venice Comic Art Festival in 2008 he curated Milo Manara’s exhibition “Nuovi sogni” (FondazioneQuerini Stampalia, Venice). frequent collaborator of Disney artist Giorgio Cavazzano, for whom he has curated a dozen exhibitions in Italy and Europe since 2009. Un veneziano alla corte del fumetto” (Bonelli Editore, 2022). He has also written various texts for catalogues of exhibitions of comic book creators and edited Giorgio Cavazzano’s artbook “Tournée” (Feltrinelli Editore, 2021). In 2018 he won the journalism award “Racconta Home Festival” in the category of professional journalists and, the following year, he received a special distinction at the “Rizzi” award for the interview “Manara: “L’erotismo?
