Panayiotis Pantazis

Panayiotis Pantazis was born in 1982 in Athens, where he lives and draws. A steady collaborator of “9” magazine in its last 5 years of circulation, he published his first comics album in 2007 (COMMON COMICS #1, Giganto books). Another 15 books followed, either through publishers such as Giganto Books, ΚaPsiMi, Jemma, Enati Diastasi, or through self-publications.

Since 2011, he has published more than 400 online serialized comic strips at socomic.gr (GABRIEL FRANSOUA’S MEMORIES, CHERRY JAM etc). He was a frequent collaborator of BLUE COMET magazine (Polaris publications) since its first issue.

His most recent publications are Penelope Delta’s STA MYSTIKA TOU VALTOU (In The Secrets Of The Swamp), adapted by Yiannis Ragos (Polaris publications, March 2018) and FESTIVAL, in collaboration with Giorgos Gousis and Georgia Zachari, a commission for the 60th Thessaloniki International Film Festival.

During Comicdon Con Athens 2020 he is releasing MERES LATREIAS (Worship Days) (written by Pantazis-Gousis, art by Pantazis, Polaris Publications).
