Η Terhi Ekebom είναι εικονογράφος, γραφίστρια και σκιτσογράφος από το Ελσίνκι. Μερικές φορές το μήνυμα του έργου είναι προσωπικό, σαν ένα comic, ενώ κάποιες άλλες, όπως στην περίπτωση ενός έργου στο δημόσιο χώρο, μπορεί να το βλέπουν όλοι. Πολυάριθμα comics έχουν εκδοθεί από την Ekebom. Η Φινλανδική Εταιρεία Comics απένειμε στην Ekebom το βραβείο Puupäähattu το 2014.
Terhi Ekebom is an illustrator, graphic artist and cartoonist from Helsinki. She works with versatile techniques, making illustrations and public art, the most recent of which have been completed by e.g. The works of the Vaasa Central Hospital and the Alava Kindergarten, as well as wall paintings in Põltsamaa, Estonia, and the lobby of the Restaurant Museum in Helsinki. In Ekebom’s works, narrative is central, she sees both the book cover illustration and the public work as an interesting story-telling stage. She reflects on the recipient and the space where the work becomes part of the encounter. Sometimes the message of the work is intimate, like a comic book, or like a public work, it can be seen by all. Numerous comics have been published by her. The Finnish Comic Society awarded Ekebom with Puupäähattu in 2014.
